Description: Knight Stainforth Caravan & Camping Park is peacefully located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, approximately 2 miles north of the market town of Settle Comments: We loved this site. Owners very friendly. Toilets and free showers were very clean. Plenty of room between tents and for the kids to play. Relaxing hidden away site. Going back next month ;-) I am not sure I should be telling you this but .... This is a FAB campsite!!! There is (usually) lots of room to pitch your tent, the views are lovely and the people are great. This is one of my favorite places in the whole world and I hope to be going back soon. Description: Langcliffe Park is surrounded by the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Walks lead directly from the park and we are within 1 mile from Settle Town Centre. The famous Settle to Carlisle Railway starts in the town and climbs to over 1,000 feet between the Dales of Eden and Ribble. We offer an ideal base from which to conquer the Three Peaks and to explore the range of captivating waterfalls and gorges of the *Dales*. We are only a short drive to the Lake District. Whether striding over the ridges and peaks or strolling along the riverside footpaths you will discover the hidden treasures in our breathtaking surroundings. At Langcliffe Park you can forget the stress of modern day life and find a special place to capture your interest and imagination. You can relax and enjoy a memorable stay. Langcliffe Park has 55 holiday home pitches nestling in the valley 1 mile north of Settle. All our holiday homes are privately owned and sub-letting is not allowed. Each pitch is serviced with mains water and drainage, bottled gas, wireless internet and telephone access. Any make of caravan can be purchased on the park and pre-owned caravans are often available. The park cannot be used as your sole or main residence, proof of your address where you reside and can be contacted will be required. The Holiday Home Park is open from 1st March to Mid January allowing you to enjoy the changing seasons in the countryside. Langcliffe Park is a haven from which to enjoy the peace, tranquillity and beautiful scenery of the area. Touring caravans, motor homes and tents are welcomed into their own secluded area, offering excellent facilities including electrical hook ups, toilets, showers, washing up area and disabled facilities.
